Matt Harris
Matt Harris, Founder, has managed and coordinated an impressive range of concerts, festivals, major events and large-scale productions for promoters and corporate clients across Australia and around the world. Starting out as an audio engineer, Matt developed a strong technical foundation before moving into event management, where his career quickly gained momentum. Today, with 20+ years of experience, he is recognised as a highly experienced event, production and site manager with a reputation for leading complex projects with calm, precision and authority.
From stadium concerts and international tours to destination festivals, live broadcasts and major public events, Matt has worked across projects involving AC/DC, Andrea Bocelli, Elton John, Tomorrowland, Sensation, Defqon1, Riyadh Season, Juicy Festival and NRL Grand Finals. Known for his sharp sense of humour, practical mindset and collaborative style, he brings people together, keeps teams steady under pressure and delivers events to an exceptional standard. By working closely with overseas counterparts and clients, Matt continues to grow his expertise and bring a global, best-practice approach to every project.
Managing Director
Ciska van Duuren
Managing Director of GEM Group and a highly respected event management professional with over 15 years of experience delivering major live events, concerts, festivals, corporate functions, charity and sporting events as well as large-scale productions across Australia and internationally.
Raised in both Australia and the Netherlands, Ciska developed an early passion for the entertainment industry, growing up immersed in the world of live events. This unique foundation gave her hands-on exposure to the industry from the ground up and a deep understanding of the many moving parts required to deliver successful events at every level.
Having worked across all facets of event delivery throughout her career, Ciska brings a rare perspective to leadership; combining strategic oversight with a genuine understanding of the detail, pressures and importance of every role within an event operation. This allows her to lead with both confidence and empathy, building strong trust across crews, contractors, clients and stakeholders alike.
Ciska specialises in end-to-end event delivery, including strategic planning, operational management, logistics, compliance and stakeholder engagement. She is highly regarded for her ability to lead complex projects involving clients, government authorities, contractors, suppliers and large workforce teams.
With a strong passion for people leadership and organisational development, Ciska brings a people-first approach to event delivery. Her expertise in workforce planning, team leadership, stakeholder management and performance management enables her to build and lead high-performing teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
